Kitchenaid 5 Quart Mixer

We have had a 5 Quart Kitchenaid mixer for many years now and are very glad that we made the purchase. We use it almost every day for some purpose or another, and it has proven to be a reliable and time saving piece of equipment.
All Kitchenaid products seem to be made very well and for long time use. When using our Kitchenaid mixer, it almost feels as though you are using a commercial machine, because of how robust it is made. One of the reasons that we chose the Kitechenaid line of mixers too, was that there are a plethora of attachments that can be purchased for specialty purposes.
One of the most useful attachments for the Kitchenaid 5 quart mixer is the meat grinder. More accurately it should be called a food grinder, since it can be used for grinding almost any food that you are working with. In many cases it is a great substitute for a food processor, and in some cases is a better tool to use than a food processor. It seems like there are many times when we are cooking that I am doing some task, and when I remember that we have the Kitchenaid food grinder attachment, we realize that we could save time and energy by using it for the same task.
There are also several attachments for the meat grinder attachment. This is actually an attachment for the meat grinder attachment, so in order to use it you will need to have the meat grinder first.
The first of these tools is a slicer attachment that will make slicing vegetables for soups and salads a breeze.
Another one is the Pasta maker attachment that will make five different kinds of pasta including; spaghetti, macaroni, egg noodles or lasagna noodles. Making so many meals can be more nutritious, inexpensive and healthier by using this attachment.
One tool that some may wish to have is the sausage stuffer attachment. If you are a hunter, or raise your own meat this is useful to make your own link sausage.
Two other attachments that we are ware of is the Juicer and can opener attachemnts.

This is a great attachment for the ice cream lover since you will be able make your own healthy and fresh ice cream in any flavor that you want that day. This is a great money saver too, since the ingredients in ice cream are not really very expensive. In just a short time you can have your own great ice cream. It’s also a great hit for a dinner party.
If you are looking at getting a quality and long lasting mixer that you will be able to use for decades, we don’t think you can do any better than the Kitchenaid 5 quart mixer.
